According to Paul Rieckhoff, founder and executive director of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, only 55% of Iraq/Afghanistan veterans use the VA. This places a huge strain on our nonprofit community, both those whose clients are solely veterans and those who serve veterans as well as the community at large. If you are a nonprofit in San Antonio, you are in some way impacted by veterans.
